Emaillerie Belge: Une toute nouvelle idée pour l'habitat - An innovative idea for interiors

Grâce au dynamisme du jeune et nouveau propriétaire, Vincent Vanden Borre, l’Emaillerie Belge née en 1923 connaît aujourd’hui un souffle absolument novateur et unique dans le monde. Si ce fabricant de produits émaillés haut de gamme (producteur unique en Belgique) travaille toujours pour l’industrie de la signalisation et de la publicité, il s’ouvre désormais vers les marchés de l’architecture, du design et de l’art. 100% fabriqué à la main en Belgique, ce procédé d’émail authentique résiste aux rayures, produits chimiques, fortes chaleurs, UV et intempéries. Avec plus de 1800 couleurs, de nombreuses finitions (brillant, mat, craquelé,…), et la possibilité d’émailler différents types de matériaux, ce nouvel esthétisme offre un caractère moderne aux projets de comptoirs, salles de bains, cuisines, cheminées, mobilier ou objets design. Depuis le déménagement des ateliers à Forest et l’installation d’un four flambant neuf en 2018, le succès ne s’est pas fait attendre. Architectes et designers de renom tels que Kasper Bosman, Glenn Sestig et Muller Van Severen ont déjà collaboré avec l’Emaillerie Belge qui a gagné en 2018 le prix BUILD Architecture pour la ‘Meilleure entreprise européenne spécialisée en émail’.

Emaillerie Belge, founded in 1923, is the last remaining producer of high-end vitreous enameled goods in Belgium. While it continues to serve the signage and advertising industries, its dynamic new owner, Vincent Vanden Borre is bringing a fresh impulse of unique novelty by expanding its application towards architecture, design and art. Its authentic process, 100% handcrafted in Belgium, enables to realize architectural products with high resistance to scratches, UV rays, acids, heat and severe weather conditions. Applicable on steel and lava stone, with more than 1800 color possibilities including finishes (glossy, matte, cracked, ...). This new esthetic conveys a modern attribute to counters, bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces, furniture, or design objects. With the relocation of the production site to Forest in 2018, the installation of a brand new furnace and the restructuring of the production flow, orders are pouring in from renowned designers and architects. Kasper Bosmans, Glenn Sestig and Muller Van Severen, just to name a few, already collaborate with Emaillerie Belge, who in 2018 also won the BUILD Architecture prize as “Best Specialist Enamelling Company in Europe”.

“Beluga“ est une finition innovante qui permet d’émailler les bords d’une tôle plate, offrant une couture arrondie raffinée.

Conçue par Stijn D’hondt pour la marque Pinscher, la “Marbelle Table Collection” a été réalisée avec les couleurs d’émail “Cobalt Blue” et “Wisdom Green”.
